#realwomen movement

The #realwomen project is originally initiated by Jada in 2016 to share portraits and stories of the women she has encountered or reached out to in the city of Hong Kong. It is an ongoing collection of photographs and stories on social media celebrating women, redefining beauty, and connecting humanity.

Since then, it has developed into an ongoing movement that goes beyond social media, as we collect stories of courageous women from all over Hong Kong and collaborate with brands and NGOs to share and convey topics that evolve around our brand mission - celebrate women, redefine beauty, connect humanity.

The movement has also birthed Jada’s solo photography exhibition ‘Not a Superwoman’ at The Landmark in July 2020, with the aim of having ongoing pop-up exhibitions and talks annually addressing different women topics.

If you have a story to tell, or you know someone who does - we are constantly collecting stories that would make a difference in someone’s heart. Please feel free to reach out to us and email us at info@jadapoonphotography.com - we would love to hear your story!
